Hom to use the buttons

The interface's right side contain its own shortcuts which allows you to access various functions. The buttons replace the main window contents, so you can easily navigate through the interface.


Description of the interface

+ [ Games button ] : This button is activated by default. It enables you to select a game then launch it. The main window is composed of the following menus :

- Encyclopedia : here are listed all the Amiga games written in the database. You can select a game to obtain certain information or start the launching processt (see the "fast launching guide").
The names are classfied in alphabetical order, you can use either the directionnal up and down keys or the scrollbar. The keys "pgup" and "pgdn" are also active.
The button in bottom of the framework allows you set the list back to its original state.

- Research : This search engine enables you to find one or more titles and isolate them. to turn ON the full list use the appropriate button

- Playable games & Favourites : The games classified by AmiGame are not directly playable. This framework enables you to associate the ADF (the most common amiga floppy image format) with the game title.
You can "mark as favourites" your games, playable or not. You can therefore choose your favorite games before starting the launching process. If you click on the button "Playable Games "or "Favorites" , the encyclopedia will automatically select concerned games.

The use of the other buttons of this framework is explained in the "fast launching Guide".

- Cover & Screenshot : This framework is integrated to the game title. Covers are available on the AmiGame site, set course to the "Update" section of the website to find them.
Screenshots on the contrary are provided by you when you capture your screenshot during your game.

- Information : All the game specifications are listed here. You may also register new info using the "Notes". A notepad opens and replaces the framework "Information". It is possible to save and print notes. Select the button "Information" to switch back to the original framework.

- Links : This framework lists all the articles and reviews hosted by the official partners of Amigame. direct links are to be used with your default internet browser.

- Modules : An audio player is embed with the interface.as for the modules, they are availaible the same way we provide covers. (see the "Update" section).
This is a multi-format player also able to read MP3.


+ [ Button options ] : Three frames are available to reach the following areas :

- Configuration : This window allows you to set most recent parameters concerning the display and the controllers.

You can open WinUAE if that appears necessary. This option is subjected to a detailed help, (see the Advanced use section).

- Path : The winuae.exe and kickstart location are indicated during your first install, if you move them you'll have to update the links towards these file.

- Général : This option is subjected to a detailed help. (see the Mises à jour section).
